隨著大鍵琴細膩刻畫樂音與貴族金邊瓷杯敲擊的清脆聲。

藉由視覺與聽覺帶領人們穿梭時空，

漫步在三百年前的奇葩花園。

西元1500年到1750年的歐洲，是奠定現代人對於時尚與品味的一個重要的世紀。典雅的文藝復興在義大利的佛羅倫斯綻放，極盡奢華的巴洛克風格席捲法國的凡爾賽宮，與波茲坦的無憂宮。王公貴族們在宮廷裡聘用了無數個優秀的畫家、建築師、服裝設計師與音樂家為他們建造嶄新風格的皇宮，設計前衛華美的服裝並譜寫出偉大動聽的音樂，好襯托他們的高貴與威嚴的氣勢。這些尊貴的音樂風格與作品，許多是在歐洲的地窖，古老的修道院和圖書館裡，被世人遺忘了幾百年的音樂，就在20世紀初在大型交響樂團越來越冗長和沉重的情況下，為了尋找新的、好聽單純的樂音，一群年輕人來到了古老的圖書館, 把幾百年前的古樂再度挖掘出來，以全新的技法與態度，和使用三百年前的原始樂器來演奏音樂, 這就是歐洲古樂的復興。

After 1600,European culture generated a new artistic style, known as the Baroque.

The Baroque style originated in Italy and spread north. It became popular at royal courts,where it symbolized the emerging power of the new monarchies. Dramatic,exuberance and grandeur show in all the art forms; sculpture,painting, architecture,and music.

With the remaining paintings and buildings,we can still see and feel the Baroque art,however the Baroque music has been gradually forgotten due to the development of the symphony orchestras.

In the early 20th Centry, a group of young musicians, rediscover the pure beauty of the Baroque Music,in search of the original instruments, manuscripts,17th and 18th centry performance technique,this lead to an Early Music movement in Europe which has hugely influenced many players in the way of playing the Baroque music today.
